Proudly serving in the daycare field since 1998. Originally a product of the U.S. Navy Standardized Caregiver Program, I began my career while stationed with my active duty spouse at Naval Support Activity, La Maddalena, Italy. While there I gained important experience caring for and nurturing little ones from infants to pre-schoolers. Arriving back in the States in 2000, I continued my career at Iman Learning Center. There I cared for multiple age groups, ranging from infants to 4 year olds. In 2005, I decided to branch out on my own and establish Lidia’s Family Day Care. So for the last ten years it’s been an adventure, as well as a pleasure to serve our wonderful parents and their precious children.
Proudly serving in the daycare field since 2009. Studied Child Development at Watkins Mill High School HS from 2007-2009. The primary emphasis was in group work towards formulating lesson plans geared for 3- 4 year olds. Rotating every 3-4 weeks, I moved on to one on one work emphasizing basic tasks such as recognizing letters and shapes and basic writing skills. I started working at Lidia's Family Day Care in August of 2009. I have worked with different ages groups ranging from infants to 4 year olds. In 2013 I completed the requirements and received my certification in Child Growth and Development. I also received my certification in Infant and Toddler Method and Materials (2013). Working at Lidia’s Family Day Care has been a great place to apply what I have learned, as well gain more knowledge and experience.
I have been in child care for over 15 years. My experience has been varied, working with infants and toddlers, as well as older children. I have also had the privilege of working in a variety of day care facilities. So I believe I have much to offer to your children. My certifications include 90 Hours Infants and Toddlers, as well as Child Growth and Development and CPR/ First Aid. Teaching arts and crafts is one of my favorite activities. I am bilingual (English and Spanish) and I am both a Mom and grandmother. I look forward to working with your children.
